Personal Bio: I’m Cassie Amabile from New Castle, PA and am a current student at Youngstown State University. I am studying marketing and sales management. I plan to graduate in the Spring of 2020. Scopes encouraged me to study in this field because I did so well from the start of my first year as a Scoper in 2016. I will be a 4-year vet at the start of summer 2019.

Scopes Bio: : I made a spur of the moment decision 4 years ago and can say with complete honesty that applying for Telescope Pictures was the best decision of my life! Prior to working with Scopes, I had never heard of it before or even been to Ocean City in my life. I was what you can call an “introvert” and a homebody. I was nervous to work with the public and live away from home for 4 months. I went with two friends from home to ease my mind about being homesick. I started Scopes not knowing what to expect and left a totally different individual. I was more outgoing, and it pushed me out of my comfort zone. I ended up being the “Scoper of The Year” and “Rookie of The Year”. I never thought in a million years that I was going to do so well and get not one, but two awards my first year! I was motivated, competitive, and willing to go through the tough parts of the season to reach my goals. My boss, Jon Cameron asked me what my goal amount was to make, and I said $8,000. I doubled that amount with my hard work and passion because I simply LISTENED to my mentors and trainers. Most importantly, the money I made put me through three years of college and I will come out with little to no debt because of Scopes. Through this tight-knit company, I like to call family, provided so much including life-long friends, knowledge in sales to help in my future career, and meeting my amazing boyfriend, Bragg last summer. Scopes and Ocean City will forever be my favorite memory as a college student. I often think about never wanting to grow up and wish I could do this every summer!

Testimonial: If you want to have the best summer of your life, have life-long friends and make a lot of money, then scopes is the summer job for you! Remember not everyone has the same “style” of scoping. What works for me may not be what works best for you. You will have hard days, but the good ones make it all worth your time. Hope to see you in summer 2019!
